I updated my personal page. This page may be outdated.

Hello. I am a PhD student under the supervision of Joaquin Miguez in the Signal Processing Group at Carlos III University, Madrid, Spain.

My primary research interest is sequential Monte Carlo (SMC) algorithms. I am (now) mostly interested in developing a practical algorithm to tackle the filtering problem in high-dimensions and under model misspecification using SMC. In general, my interests mostly lie in computational statisticsmachine learning, and probability.

Previously, I received the BSc and MSc degrees from the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Istanbul Technical University in 2010 and 2012 respectively. I worked as a research assistant at the Department of Computer Engineering, Boğaziçi University between 2012-2015 and as a quantitative researcher (financial engineering) at algosis inc. between 2014-2015. Since October 2015, I am based on UC3M.

Here is my usually up-to-date CV. This is my Google Scholar. See the publications page for preprints, papers, slides, posters, and other things related to my work.
